
Jamie was raised a preacher's kid in the mountains of West Virginia. He gave his life to the Lord in 1995 while being mentored by his youth pastor. He joined the United States Marine Corps and served for nine years. During his time in the Marines, he served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. While in Iraq in the Spring of 2003, Jamie, along with his unit, assisted in the mission to rescue the first female prisoner of war in Iraq, Jessica Lynch. Following his time as a Marine recruiter, Jamie answered God's call to be a Pastor, serving faithfully for 18 years in West Virginia, Georgia, and New Jersey. During this time, Jamie attended seminary at Liberty University, earning his Master of Divinity in 2014 and his Doctor of Ministry in Discipleship in 2020. Jamie has also been trained by the Bonhoeffer Project and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Pastor Jamie joined the Parkland family in November of 2025. Jamie has a great passion for evangelism, discipleship, and building long-lasting personal relationships with the people God places in his life.
Jamie has been married to his wife, Katie, for 23 years, and they have four children: Hunter (23), Dylan (21), Savanna (20), and Kyla (12).
